The Salford Oak

One of the most striking features as you enter Salford Mennonite Meetinghouse is the cross-cut section of the “Salford Oak”. This tree took root around the time when this congregation was born. Its rings mark the passing of time and highlight a few significant moments in Salford’s history.

    I love the Salford Oak. Does anyone know more of its story, beyond the “when?”
